Chrome extension: Ohana360 Helper

What it does#

Ohana360 Helper is a small extension for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave). It does three things:

Download and install#

1. In the app open Marketplace > Tools and click Download on the Chrome Extension card; a zip file downloads.
2. Unzip it and keep the folder somewhere permanent (Documents, for example). Chrome runs the extension from that folder; deleting it removes the extension.
3. In Chrome open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode at the top right.
4. Click Load unpacked and select the folder. The Ohana360 icon appears in the toolbar; pin it via the puzzle icon.
5. Sign in to ohana360.com once in the same Chrome. The extension uses that session and asks for no password.

Tasks from Gmail#

1. Open an email in Gmail and click the O360 button at the bottom right.
2. The subject comes from the email; pick the type (Email, Call, Meeting), due date and owner. The owner list is your org's users.
3. If the sender exists in Ohana, the "link to record" box is pre-checked; the task shows on that contact's or lead's timeline.
4. Create Task: the record is written to the org you are currently in and opens in Ohana via the link.

API names mode#

With an Ohana360 page open, click the extension icon and then 🔤 API names. Grey badges with API names appear next to field labels (for example name next to Account Name). The same button turns it off. These are the names you use in the API, flow formulas and import mappings.

Security#

• The extension runs only on ohana360.com, mail.google.com and avukat.uyap.gov.tr.
• It stores no passwords; it uses your existing Ohana360 session in the browser. Sign out of Ohana and the extension stops working.
• In Gmail only the subject and sender of the currently open email are read; your mailbox is never scanned.
• On UYAP it only reads; nothing is written to the portal (see UYAP sync).
