UYAP sync: bringing Lawyer Portal files into Law360

What it does#

UYAP (Turkey's national judiciary network) has no public API and the Lawyer Portal accepts only e-signature or mobile-signature logins. The connection therefore runs inside your own browser: the Ohana360 Helper Chrome extension reads the results of screens you already open in the portal and transfers them to Law360. It never writes to the portal and never acts on your behalf.

Setup (once)#

1. Request the extension package from Ohana360 (support request) and unzip it into a folder.
2. In Chrome open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode.
3. Click Load unpacked and pick the folder. The Ohana360 icon appears in the toolbar.
4. Sign in to ohana360.com once in the same Chrome. The extension uses that session and asks for no password.

Daily use#

1. Log in to the Lawyer Portal with your e-signature as usual. A burgundy ⚖ Ohana360 button appears bottom right.
2. Open File Search and list your files. The counter on the button grows with each file.
3. Open Hearing Search; optionally look at a file's Docket tab. Every screen adds to the panel.
4. Open the panel and click Send to Ohana360. The result line reports cases created, cases updated and hearings added; the Cases ↗ link opens Law360.

Refresh re-runs your latest file and hearing query with the same portal session, scanning hearings 90 days ahead. The next day you stay current with "Refresh, Send" instead of revisiting every screen. Reset clears the panel only; Law360 records are untouched.

Matching rules#

• Each UYAP file is created once. On later transfers the same file is found and only changed facts (status, latest action) are updated; client, opposing party and your notes are preserved.
• A case you opened by hand matches a UYAP file when docket number and court name are identical, so no duplicates appear.
• New cases get a DAV- number, the title is docket number plus court, and the client field arrives empty. After the transfer use Edit (or the E key) to fill in client and opposing party.
• A case with an upcoming hearing moves to the Hearing stage on its own; a file closed in UYAP becomes Closed.
• A hearing whose file has not been transferred yet is skipped and counted as "unmatched hearing". Transfer the file list first, then hearings.

Hearing reminders#

Transferred hearings show in the Law360 calendar and in Upcoming Hearings on the home page. Build a scheduled flow to notify the team or the client the day before; with WhatsApp360 enabled the reminder template goes out in one click.

Privacy and safety#

• The extension never writes to the portal: it cannot file petitions, open cases or sign anything. Refresh only repeats query screens.
• Paid lookups (civil registry, land registry, social security, police, bank) are never read; your query balance is not touched.
• Document contents, petition text, national ID, address and phone fields are not collected. What travels is file number, unit, type, status, dates and a docket summary.
• Your e-signature PIN and portal session are not handed to the extension; you always log in yourself.
• Every transfer is logged on the UYAP Lawyer Portal card under Setup > Automations and Integrations: who transferred what and when.
