E-mail: org address, templates, sending from records

Send e-mail on behalf of your org: organization address verification, templates, sending from record pages, signatures and conversation history.

Organization e-mail

Define and verify your organization e-mail address under Setup > Company Information. Once verified, e-mails leaving the org are sent on behalf of your organization and replies return to your address (Reply-To). For deliverability, the sending infrastructure address stays with the platform, which keeps your e-mails out of spam.

E-mail templates

  • Create subject + body templates under Setup > E-mail Templates and personalize with merge fields.
  • Which objects allow sending from the record is also configured here (default: Case).

Sending from a record

  1. Open the ✉️ E-mail card on the record page.
  2. The recipient is suggested automatically (from the record's e-mail field); pick a template or write freely.
  3. The sent e-mail is written to the record's activity timeline; the conversation accumulates on the record.
  • The sender is the logged-in user: the customer receives the e-mail under your name.
  • The ↩ Reply button opens a new message with the recipient and subject line prefilled.
  • There is a daily sending cap (abuse protection).

Personal signature

Save your e-mail signature from the profile menu; it is appended to every e-mail sent from records. You can preview and adjust it per message before sending.

Tip: Turn your three most frequent e-mails (welcome, proposal follow-up, payment reminder) into templates; team speed improves visibly.
